Mortimer McmireIn the Commander Keen computer games, Mortimer McMire is an evil 8-year-old genius and arch enemy of Commander Keen. He has an IQ of 315, as opposed to Keen's 314. McMire wears a black football helmet. In the Vorticon series, the Grand Intellect is revealed as Mortimer, who has enslaved a race of aliens known as the Vorticons. However Keen travels to Vorticon VI and defeats Mortimer. In episode 5, Keen comes across a note in the Standard Galactic Alphabet that reveals that Keen actually defeated an android duplicate and that the real Mortimer is planning to destroy the entire universe. In the Game Boy Color release of Commander Keen, Mortimer is responsible for another alien race attempting to rule the galaxy.
