Morning StarThe phrase Morning Star can refer to several things. - The planet Venus, when it is visible early in the day - known as Phosphorus. (see also Evening Star)
- The Morning Star can refer to Lucifer, or rather vice versa: lucifer is the Latin name for the morning star.
- the New Testament, Morning Star is a name figuratively given to Jesus of Nazareth (Rev. 22:16; comp. 2 Pet. 1:19).
