Monsoon Wedding

Monsoon Wedding (2001) is a film directed by Mira Nair which depicts various romantic entanglements during a traditional Punjabi wedding in Delhi. Because it was hugely successful across the world, earning over $20 millions at the box office, the film is often described as the highest-grossing Indian film ever made, although it was in fact a co-production between India, the USA and several other countries. Tagline: The Rain is coming... and so is the Family.
