Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar High School is a secondary school located at 3325 Westheimer Road in the River Oaks district of Houston, Texas. Lamar High School is the largest school in the Houston Independent School District. The school handles grades nine through twelve. Lamar High School has both neighborhood and International Baccalaureate programs. The current principal is Dr. James McSwain. The school is so well-known in the area that some people have placed the school as their alma mater in their obituaries. The school has HISD's "business" magnet program.
