mildred bailey

Mildred Bailey (February 27, 1907 - December 12, 1951) was a popular American singer. Born in Tekoa, Washington, Bailey sang with Paul Whiteman and his Orchestra from 1931 to 1933. In the mid- to late 1930s she made many recordings with her husband Red Norvo and his Orchestra. Mildred married Red in 1933, and they divorced in 1945.
