Midland Mainline

This article is about the Train Operating Company Midland Mainline. For the railway line see Midland Main Line.

Midland Mainline (MML) is a British train operating company, created after the privatisation of British Rail. It runs trunk services from London St. Pancras to the East Midlands and Yorkshire, on the Midland Main Line. It is based in Derby and owned by the National Express Group. MML operates High Speed Trains that it acquired from British Rail. It ordered class 170 Turbostar DMUs which were later replaced by Class 222 Meridian units. Its original livery was teal, but as part of a corporate makeover, this was replaced with blue.
