Michigan State Highway 13

Michigan State Highway 13 or M-13 is a 72.22 mile highway that cuts through the bay region of Michigan. It's southern terminus is located at I-69 south of the town of Lennon with it's northern terminus is located south of Standish. M-13's former northern terminus was at CONN M-13 in Kawkawlin. This highway goes through the cities of Saginaw, Bay City, Linwood and Pinconning. The reaminder segment of M-13 between Kawkawlin and Standish is a relic of the former pre-freeway segment of US-23 since it was an extention supplanted by the AASHTO banning of the ALT US-23. Advice to Wikipedians: If I-75 between CONN M-13 and US-23 south of Standish has any traffic jams on any segment inbetween, just take CONN M-13 north to M-13 and up to US-23 south (i.e. west in terms of geography) back to I-75. One odd aspect of M-13 is that it that the segment between Kawkawlin and Standish is a 5-lane community style highway with a center turn lane like arterial city streets; but in the wilderness.
