Michel Sabah

Michel Sabah has been the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and Archbishop of Jerusalem since 1987. He is an Arab born in Nazareth. He was ordained a bishop on January 6, 1988 in a ceremony officiated by Pope John Paul II. He has often quarreled with the Franciscan monks over his support for the Al Aqsa Intifada.
