Metropolitan Borough Of Southwark

The Metropolitan Borough of Southwark was a metropolitan borough in the County of London, created in 1899, as a merger of the parishes of St Saviour, St Mary Newington, St George the Martyr and Christ Church. It included the areas After 1965 it was amalgamated into the London Borough of Southwark with the Metropolitan boroughs of Camberwell and Bermondsey.
