Mercy Corps

Mercy Corps is a not-for-profit organization engaged in humanitarian aid and development activities. It was founded in 1979 as Save the Refugees Fund in response to the plight of Cambodian refugees fleeing the famine, war and genocide of the Killing Fields. It is now a leading global relief and development organization, assisting over 6 million people a year in more than 35 countries. It has headquarters offices in Portland, Oregon, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
