Mel Karmazin

Mel Karmazin (born 1943) is the CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio. Prior he has been the COO of Viacom, a media conglomerate that includes CBS, UPN, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Paramount and Showtime. Karmazin has been inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame, the Radio Hall of Fame, a recipient of the National Association of Broadcasters National Radio Award, and the IRTS Gold Medal.
