Mecklenburgisch

Mecklenburgisch (Mecklenborgsch) is a Low German dialect. Western parts of it are similar to some Low Saxon dialects. Mecklenburgisch belongs to East Low German. It is the language of the Mecklenburg people in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in Germany. Its western dialects have Northern Low Saxon influence. It differs slightly from Pomeranian, which is spoken in the eastern parts of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and includes much more Slavic influence.
