Matrix Theory (Physics)

Matrix theory (also written "M(atrix) Theory") is a fundamental formulation of M-theory, in terms of interacting D0-branes (zero-dimensional Dirichlet branes), proposed by Banks, Fischler, Shenker, and Susskind.
