Matching Mole

Matching Mole was a progressive rock band formed in 1971 by Robert Wyatt after he left Soft Machine. The name is a pun, since Machine Molle would be the translation of 'Soft Machine' into French. Matching Mole was quite shortlived, disbanding after little success by the end of 1972. Wyatt, however, went on to a successful solo career.
