Martin E. Marty

Martin E. Marty is an American Lutheran pastor and scholar who has written extensively on 18th-century and 20th-century American religion. His published works include (1970), for which he won the National Book Award, and the encyclopedic five-volume Fundamentalism Projecthttp://www.press.uchicago.edu/Complete/Series/FP.html, co-edited with historian R. Scott Appleby.
