Marston Moor

Marston Moor, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire was the site of the battle of Marston Moor, the largest battle of the English Civil War in 1644. Today an obelisk at the site commemorates the conflict between the Royalists and the Parliamentary troops, the latter being the victors.
