Manuel Isidoro Belzu

Manuel Isidoro Belzu Humerez (14 April, 1808 - 23 March, 1865) was president of Bolivia from 1848 to 1855. Belzu was born in La Paz, Bolivia. After his term as president he served as a diplomat in Europe for a decade, then returned to La Paz, with hopes of returning to the presidency. He died by assassination.
