Maltese Alphabet

The Maltese alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet with the addition of some letters with diacritic marks. It is used to write the Maltese language. It contains 30 letters:
||Ċ||D||E||F||Ġ||G||Għ||H||Ħ||I |Ie||J||K||L||M||N||O||P||Q||R||S||T||U||V||W||X||Z||Ż
||b||ċ||d||e||f||ġ||g||għ||h||ħ||i |ie||j||k||l||m||n||o||p||q||r||s||t||u||v||w||x||z||ż
Note that it does not contain the Latin letter Y. The alphabet is sometimes considered to contain C (sorting after Ċ), but this letter is only used in words derived from other languages, especially Italian and English.
