Mahindra

Mahindra is an Indian company started in 1945 comprised of two main divisions, an automotive division that manufactures utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles and three-wheeled vehicles and a farm equipment division that manufactures tractors, tractor accessories (including complimentary machines) and industrial engines. Mahindra holds a license from Willys to produce the Jeep CJ. It also has a joint venture with Ford Motor Company, in which the Ford Ikon, a sedan version of the European Ford Fiesta, is built locally. It employs approximately 12,000 employees in six manufacturing facilities and 49 sales offices and is carried by over 650 dealers througout India.
