Magnus V Of Norway

Magnus Erlingsson (1156-1184). Viking king of Norway from Etne in Hordaland. Son of Erling Skakke and Kristin Jorsaldatter, daughter of Sigurd I Magnusson. Was named king in 1161, but his father reigned on his behalf until 1177. Died in the battle against Sverre Sigurdsson at Fimreite in 1184. Magnus 5
