Magic Kingdom (Terry Brooks)The Magic Kingdom of Landover series is a quintet by Terry Brooks following the adventures of Ben Holiday, a trial lawyer who goes into a depression after the death of his wife and unborn child. He finds that he is no longer motivated by justice and feels that the legal system is profoundly flawed. This leads him to respond to a fantastic advertisement for a "Magic Kingdom" which he purchases, suspecting some deception behind it; he is shocked to find that the kingdom is real and that is in a state of collapse.
