M23 Motorway

The M23 motorway is a major road in England. The motorway runs from London to Crawley in West Sussex. Originally, it was planned to start the motorway from inner London, but difficulties over finding an acceptable route have led to its northern end lying just south of Coulsdon, in Surrey. From there, the road runs south for seventeen miles, past Redhill and Gatwick Airport to end on the A23 road just south of Crawley.
