Lund Municipality

Lunds kommun is a municipality in Skne County in southernmost Sweden. The town of Lund, with a population of 73,840, is the natural center of the municipality, but administrative reforms of the 1970s led in 1974 to the incorporation of the towns of: These towns are part of the South-Western Scania metropolitan area, chiefly serving as suburbs for Malm and Lund. Other suburbs within the municipality include:

  • Revinge by, pop. 540
  • Torna Hllestad, pop. 534
(All figures as of 2000.) The national park Dalby Sderskog is situated between Dalby and Lund.
