Luke Records

Luke Records is the label formed in 1990 by Luther Campbell, frontman of 2 Live Crew. When one of the records of 2 Live Crew ('As naughty as they wanna be') was banned from being available to minors Luther changed his name to Luke Skywalker and launched Luke Skywalker Records to distribute the record himself. George Lucas sued him so Luther changed his artist name to "Luke" and the record label to "Luke Records".
