Luiz Felipe Scolari

Luiz Felipe Scolari (also known as Felipo ( 'Big Phil' ) has been coach of the Portugal national football team since 2003. He is a Brazilian, born in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul on the September 11, 1948. From 2001 to 2002 he coached the Brazilian national football team, leading it to victory in the 2002 World Cup. By coaching Portugal during its run to the finals of the 2004 European Football Championship, he became the first foreign coach ever to lead any team to the finals of that event.
