Louis Le Prince

Louis Le Prince, born in Metz, France in 1842. He grew up visiting the studio of his father's friend, the photographer Louis Deguerre. After marriage, he moved to Leeds, England and developed a camera for taking the first moving pictures, which filmed, of Leeds Bridge, in 1888. In 1890, he boarded a train from Dijon to Paris but disappeared en route.
