  • Antoni Fiter i Rossell, jurist, from Ordino, wrote the Manual Digest (1748). The Manual digest de las valls neutras de Andorra is an history book and maxim book, a seminal book for Andorra's politics.
  • Jacint Verdaguer (1845-1902), Catalan poet, lived in August 1883 in casa Rossell at Ordino. He is deemed one of the most prestigious guests of the country.
  • Joan Benlloch i Viv (1864-1926), bishop of Urgell and Catalan co-prince, wrote Andorra's national anthem.
  • Boris de Skossyreff (1898-?), a Russian emigr, self-proclaimed "Boris I, King of Andorra" in 1934, before the Catalan Co-prince intervened to restore order.
