Lieutenant Hornblower

Lieutenant Hornblower (published 1952) is a Horatio Hornblower novel written by C. S. Forester. Hornblower, now lieutenant, copes with Captain with paranoid schizophrenia, his incompetent First Lieutenant, is twice promoted to commander, and meets his future wife.
