Licinianus

Iulius Valens Licinianus apparently had the support of the Roman Senate and parts of the population when he initiated an uprising against Decius in AD 250. However, Valerian, who had been left in charge in Rome by Decius, had little trouble in suppressing the rebellion. Little more is known about Licinianus. He should not be confused with Flavius Galerius Valerius Licinianus Licinius who was Roman Emperor from 308 to 324.
