LeviceLevice le-vi-tse (Hungarian: Lva, German: Lewenz) is a town in western Slovakia. The town lies on the left bank of the lower Hron river (Old-Slavic name of the town was Leva, that means „the Left One“). Location: in the NE corner of the Danubian Plain / Podunajsk nžina, 70 mi E of Bratislava, 25 mi SE of Nitra, 26 mi NE of Nov Zmky, 20 mi SW of Bansk Štiavnica, 34 mi SW of Zvolen, 16 mi from the border with Hungary.
