Lemminkinen

In Finnish mythology, Lemminkinen is the god of magic. He is the son of Ilmatar, and brother of Vinminen and Ilmarinen. Lemminkinen holds the magical sampo. He is associated with water; in one myth he drowns, only for his mother to restore him to life, while in another he lives in an underwater castle. Some sources say that he and Ahti are the same deity.
