Leather Charm

Leather Charm was a heavy metal band formed in Brea, California. Leather Charm was formed from members of the band Phantom Lord, and changed its name when Ron McGovney joined. Other members of Leather Charm included: Leather Charm broke up, mainly due to the fact that Jim Mulligan left. Out of the ashes of Leather Charm arose Metallica, to be formed by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich in late 1981. Musically, Leather Charm's main legacy is the song "Hit the Lights."
