Laurent Beaudoin

Laurent Beaudoin, C.C., O.Q., M.Comm., D.Sc.Adm., F.C.A., (born May 13, 1938, in Laurier Station, Quebec) is a Canadian businessman. The son-in-law of Joseph Armand Bombardier, Beaudoin became Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier, Inc. in 1979, rescuing it from near bankruptcy. He currently sits on the Canadian Advisory Board of the Carlyle Group. In 1973 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada and was promoted to Companion in 1988.
