Last.fm

Last.FM is a website and internet radio station designed to introduce people to new music. It is a sister site to and shares a music database with Audioscrobbler. Record labels and artists are encouraged to allow Last.FM to play their music because it will, in theory, increase album sales. Last.FM contains several features that don't appear on Audioscrobbler, such as a database editor, easier navigation to linked profiles (such as friends and musical neighbours), recommended music for each user, information on individual users' favourite albums and the top 100 most played tracks/artists, as opposed to Audioscrobbler's top 50. Last.FM broadcasts in 128 kb/s 44.1 kHz MP3 format.
