Lady Of Rage

Lady of Rage is a West Coast rapper best known for several collaborations with copious Death Row Records artists, including Snoop Doggy Dogg on Doggystyle. Dr. Dre discovered Lady of Rage in Farmville, Virginia, and she soon appeared on They Come in All Colors (The L.A. Posse, 1991, 1991 in music) and then had a hit single with "Afro Puffs" (from the soundtrack to Above the Rim). Her debut solo album, Necessary Roughness, was released in June of 1997 (see 1997 in music).
