KrujKruj (Albanian: Kruj or Kruja, Italian: Croia) is a capital city of the District of Kruj in Albania. Located at 41.52°N 19.80°E, with a population of about 20 000, Kruj is most known as the hometown of Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg. The city's name comes from the Albanian word for spring, krua. Kruj is also a tourist attraction. Some of the biggest points of interest include the restored castle and citadel, the Skanderbeg museum located inside his castle, and the old restored bazaar. See also
