Kpavogur is the second-largest city in Iceland with a population of about 25,000. It lies south of Reykjavk and is a part of the greater Reykjavk area. Kpavogur will be long remembered as the site of the Kpavogur meeting where bishop Brynjlfur Sveinsson and lgmaður rni Oddsson on behalf of the Icelandic people signed a document confirming total monarchy for the king of Denmark over Iceland.
