Korolev

Korolev (in Russian, Королёв), is an industrial city near to Moscow, well-known as the cradle of space exploration. It was originally founded as Kaliningrad (Moscow Oblast), by Russian scientist and academician Sergei Pavlovich Korolev to consolidate the activities of many people in the space exploration programme. Today, Korolev is one of the biggest cities in the Moscow region. The main enterprise of the city is the Energiya Rocket and Space Complex, but there are several kinds of industries in the city.
