Konstantin Hierl

Konstantin Hierl was a major in the Reichswehr's Political Department in Munich, Germany, who in 1919 ordered the ex-soldier Adolf Hitler to attend a meeting of the German Workers Party (which soon became the Nazi Party). Hierl later became a party member and was for a time a senior figure in the party. His service eventually won him the German Order.
