Kodiak Launch Center

The Kodiak Launch center (also KLC) is a commercial rocket launching site at 5726'09" northern latitude and 15220'16" western length. It is on the island Kodiak within the range of Narrow Cape. The Kodiak Launch center belongs the Alaska Aerospace development corporation and is appropriate for the start of solid-propellant rockets. So far a small number of suborbitaler starts for military tests of the "Ballistic Missile Defense organization" (BMDO) took place as well as an orbital start.
