Klingon Language Institute

The Klingon Language Institute is an organization devoted to studying and teaching the human-made Klingon language from the Star Trek science fiction universe. It was founded in 1992, and publishes a quarterly journal called HolQeD (language science). Each year it holds a qep'a' (meeting) that is open to all members. It was mentioned in the documentary Trekkies.
