Kelvindale

Kelvindale is a western district in the city of Glasgow in Scotland. Construction started in the 1920s by Glasgow Corporation. The houses were intended for sale rather than for rent, but they retain some architectural features in common with Glasgow's once enormous rental housing stock. Subsequently in the 1930s private builders extrended the distict considerably. In the early 2000s it remains a desirable family area just outside the popular University sector of the West End. Cleveden Secondary School is located in the Kelvindale area.
