Kegworth

Kegworth (pronounced locally as "Keggoth" or "kegg-wuth") is a village on the River Soar, Leicestershire, England. It is near junction 24 of the M1 motorway and is also very close to East Midlands Airport. As a result of its proximity to the airport, it was the site of the Kegworth air disaster in 1989. Nearby places include Long Eaton, Castle Donington, Shepshed, and Loughborough.
