Kedrenos

Georgios Kedrenos, also known as George Cedrenus, was a Byzantine historian of the mid eleventh century CE. In the 1050s he compiled A Concise History of the World, spanning the time from the biblical Creation until his own day. Kedrenos is one of the few sources that discuss Khazar polities in existence after the fall of Atil in 969 CE (see Georgius Tzul).
