Keb' Mo'

Keb' Mo' is a noted blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He was born Kevin Moore in Los Angeles, California on October 3, 1951. He learned guitar at the age of 12, and started his own calypso band in his teens. In the 1970s and 1980s he played in a variety of blues and backup bands. Then in 1994 he released his debut solo album, Keb' Mo'. A few years later, he portrayed the blues legend Robert Johnson in the documentary film Can't You Hear the Wind Howl? He also composed one of the theme songs used on the show Martha Stewart Living.
