Karl Theodor Robert Luther Karl Theodor Robert Luther (April 16 1822 – February 15 1900) was a German astronomer who searched for asteroids while working in Dsseldorf. Two of his discoveries are now known to have unusual properties: the binary asteroid with equal components 90 Antiope and the extremely slow-rotating 288 Glauke.
