Kaknstornet

Kaknstornet is a TV tower in Stockholm, Sweden. The tower is the hub of television and radio broadcasts in Sweden. It was finished in 1967, designed by architect Bengt Lindroos, and the height including antenna is 155 meters. For many years Kaknstornet was the tallest building in Scandinavia, but was surpassed in 2000 by the Kista Science Tower in Stockholm, a mere three meters taller. The tower is owned by the national Swedish broadcasting company named "Teracom". The tower is open for the public, with indoor and outdoor observation decks as well as a restaurant. The tower affords superb views of the city.
