The University of Athens is to the northeast mainly in Zografou. The rest of the area are made up of residential buildings. Kaisariani has a hill in the centre. Much of the land in the east are the rocky landspapes and forests of Hymettus. The Kaisariani Monastery is founded in the southeast in the Hymettus mountain. Kaisariani has schools, lyceums, gymnasia, banks, post offices and squares (plateies). The eastern bypass of Athens is in the east. Kaisariani also has a basketball team which was founded in 1927.
