K RecordsK Records is a record company in Olympia, Washington and was founded, owned, and operated by Calvin Johnson, formerly of the bands Beat Happening, The Go Team, The Halo Benders and, at present, in the band Dub Narcotic Sound System. Musicians such as Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, John Wozniak of Marcy Playground, and Jason Frost of Love Junkies frequented and lived in this tiny northwestern musical town in the early 1990s.
