Joseph Ransohoff

Joseph "Joe" Ransohoff (1915-2001) was a great neurosurgeon and invented the modern technique for brain surgery. He saved countless lives and was a kind and noble person. For a number of years he served as the head of neurosurgery for New York University (NYU) before moving to Tampa, Florida, where he died on January 30, 2001.
